VKG Oil produces fine chemicals of high purity (over 99%) in quantities ranging from dozens to hundreds of tonnes. Fine Chemicals, produced at the historic, over 90 year old Kohtla-Järve production site, find their way to customers around the world – in North and South America, and countries such as Japan and India.

Along with increasing production capacity, the enterprise has also been witness to successful development work in the production of other phenolic compounds. The list of fine chemicals produced by VKG grows with each passing year.

Alkylresorcinols are found only in Estonian oil shale, and the technology used in their extraction is covered by a patent held by VKG Oil’s engineers.
